The Darkest Dungeon One
Rowan: After chapter one, you have to beat a boss on every run. You have to be one of those layer bosses in order to fight the final boss of the chapters. I think it's actually fair to compare this game to Hades. The game reacts to the things you're doing and talks to you about how your accomplishments are going. Darkest Dungeon 2 really could use that aspect which is another huge spice between the two games.
