Jimmy Garoppolo's Surgery Scared the 49ers
Jimmy Garoppolo didn't even try to hide his desire to be traded. The 49ers had gone far down the path of what a trade would look like, but it never materialized. I was on vacation in Kauai or something and I get a text message that Carson Wentz has been traded to Washington. It's just as simple as Jimmy Garoppolo was more valuable to the 49ers than he was to anybody else.
