The Tensions of Community and Mission
I think all three are essential, but I we do get so self absorbed in one or the other sometimes. Jesus wants you to go out and get rung out, but he also doesn't want you to try and fix the world without him. Any healthy church has got has got both the tension of community and mission. And that means that actually our deep friendships were willing for them to be interrupted...for the sake of mission.
