The song itself is about feeling like you want to be back home. And missing the person you love and feeling like you're stuck in some kind of situation Elsewhere geographically or literally. It was always just this thing between two chords and had a few synth lines on top of each other. The original instrument was just for whatever I was going to write over it But obviously it kept its place.
