Wilkerson's Flamingo
Wilkerson had been working with various gangsters for a good 20 years before he met seagull. Seegel quickly saw the flamingo as an opportunity to make a legitimate name for himself, even if he got there by illegitimate means. Wilkerson was offered cash to finish the project, and in exchange, he would keep a one third ownership of the flamingo. And he was promised he would retain creative and managerial control. He did not.
