China is really well cast for that role. Because of the economic intertwinement with china, i think that what the national security folks chronically under estimate is the kind of mutually assured economic destruction. I don't mean like interest rates going up. I mean a kind of acon systemic destruction. At the present, there is no way to fight a war with ch China in the framework of that economic intert confinement.
