I think that talking about your friends in an observational sort of anthropological way is fine. Although I certainly don't want to think about people talking about me that way. That's different from like gossip, which is saying, you know, classified information about people. So with borderline personality disorder, you're looking for cues from somebody else that they really highly value you and that they're loyal to you.
