Pryons and prion like are disorders, seem to be implicated now in things like elsimes and huntington parkinson's disease. They don't yare not necessarily transmissible in the sense that if one touches another, it tends to result in the misfolding. But you do have this aggregation of misfolded protens and the toxicity, so that the cells then die. And the associated toxici predomenly in dope, mean nurons.
