VCs Give the Opportunity to Start a Humble Dot
Will and I were at Twitter for about a year and a quarter. We felt like there was an opportunity that maybe a variation of Peer could still succeed. And so after about a year, we were like, you know what, why don't we just build this? Do you want to just work on this on the weekend and get a first iteration of this done? It started getting some traction. But once we started seeing people use the product and really thinking about the opportunity is we left Twitter and raised a small pre-seed round.
