i think maybe this wasn't explicit in the essay, but i think it was at least implied that, you know, sometimes maybe the death drive can bring us back. That would bewouldbe kind of comforting, right? But of coursete, the the point of a analysis thof death drive is that it's always a normal that never really existed in the first place. And sto reach it, to reach it would be a kind of destruction. And it would also be aeconoic, shocking tragedy, ause it won't actually be as you fantisized it to be.
