I Think the Two Parties Serve the Interests of Aging Property People
I think it is true the two parties basically serve the interests of aging property people. But ageing property people are not monolithic, and they may have very different visions about what kind of country they want to live in. And i think that democrats accurately represent how a certain swath of the country, over the age of 50 or whatever, sees its interests. These tend to be boomer home owners who have something to lose from a disruption of the social order but also don't like the direction republicans would want to take the country in.
