The Power of Tracing

I still remember this moment when at the job a few years back, we had our first set up of like spandex and some traces. And then we had this the first kind of outage scenario and I could see the traces and I couldsee the locks for each individual trace. So suddenly I felt like, hey, I can really understand a lot more about the system and how it's behaving. It actually led to Like more investment in optimizing different parts of Commanded which is a CQRS library. No understanding of what was happening inside Exended which is why I wrote OpenTelemetry Commanded to provide instrumentation into Commanded.
