OCD is under diagnosed and under treated because people are generally secretive about it. One in 100 children in the US have OCD, usually around age 40. So I can see the 17 years to receive appropriate treatment from the time that OCD begins. But the nine years and three to four doctors to seek treatment? That happened to us or me. Not nine years. No, but well, I mean, I had a son's childhood and I just never vocalized it because I didn't know. It got to a breaking point and we'll get there in the story here that we finally realized that there was something going on and had to find treatment.
