I loved sports all the time because I love performing. And as selfish as that may seem, I think it's very therapeutic to do to have experiences like that. Just like anything, something that could be mild or virtuous can turn into something pretty heavy and dark at some point. "Being the best is probably not as important to me when I actually think about it," he says.
