Marsha: I could see a lot of a spiritual, not necessarily abuse, but trauma occurring when people are having these forms of contemplative prayer. Sharon: The danger is that they may start having ideas about who God is and who Jesus is based on these experiences. Montanor: It's hard for me to understand the benefit of something when you can't even know it's true.
