I think for me in particular, and maybe for like a lot of women, you're a people pleaser. You don't want to upset the apple cart. So it really gave me a lot of anxiety when I would watch something and felt I had to get up and say something. It makes sense because there's some imposter syndrome, like it's your story material. Your instincts might be true for the book, but maybe not for the movie. For me, writing a screenplay, an original screenplay, even adapting my own work is full of fulfillment. The start of that project is very creatively challenging, but not in an exhausting way. But with screenplays, I love the act
