conflict management hinges on the ability to keep people linked, even as their grain. When i was at harvard, i d that i would do my doctral dissertation on meditation. However, my professors were very psychoanalytic, and they thought this was a really stupid idea. So it seemed to me what i needed do, what i needed to do was to manage the conflict. But i didn't know that at the time, just going blind. It seemed to me, i wanted to do this, i had to get everyone to agree. And so i had to tactfully bring the disagreement into the open and come up with a solution that everyone could endorse.
