The Lord's Presence Is With You

In Deuteronomy, Moses speaks of the conquest of the land as a present tense thing. The message is that God's mighty presence is not something we claim about the past but what we experience here in the present. In John chapter 17, Jesus prays for his disciples for the courage they will need to go out and spread the word amid opposition.
