How to Use Bayesian Inference to Study the Brain
The conceptually, the whole framework should generalize to any tasks that require a Bayesian inference. I was interested in bridging different levels of analysis. And so coming here was very natural for me to start thinking about hippocampus because Ila had built these beautiful ring-the-tractor models for head direction circuits. Like you can actually see a ring in the fruit fly brain.
