"I want you to notice how hard your partner just worked right now to contain their reactivity, to become so that they can be available to you," she says. "It's not individual sessions with each of them. Because what my hope is that their partner will see how hard they're working to become grounded." She adds: "There's a very clear contract for people coming in that the contract is nothing that will not work out unless both of you agree to contain your reactivity"
