How to Go Faster Than the Speed of Light?

There are two different ways to look at it in general relativity. The more intuitive way is the co moving way to say the universe is expanding. And there's no limit to how fast the universe can expand. That means things out there that are moving away from us apparently faster than the speed of light. But as time goes on, the photon is not getting closer to us even though it's moving through its local space at the speed oflight.
