You write beautifully about attention. Andn you say that art is born in attention and its midwife is detail. I think that we have an idea of mythology that says creativity should be grand and vague. What i say is, no, creativity actually should be specific. So when you're thinking about your lover, you think about the curve of your lover's neck, and it gives you something specific to write about. Some one reading it can connect to that and connect the person you're describing as somebody who's physically active, does a lot of strength training and is vegetarian.
