The Disadvantages of Being a Black Person
In Jamaica, there were the kind of remnants or the legacy of some colorism. It certainly didn't affect my aspirations, what I believe was possible for me. And it's a shame because now is the assumption that we're almost taught that if you're a black person and a white or non-black person has any kind of view about your surprised in some way about your accomplishments... They are inherently racist and so proven otherwise.
