Be careful at hindsight bias, the tendency to believe that an event was more predictable or obvious than it actually was after it occurred. Anchoring bias is when you rely on the first piece of information that you have. That's what first impressions are so important. So if someone like if a doctor says this has a 90% success rate, that sounds better to them than saying, Hey, if I do surgery on your arm, it's 90% going to heal.
