i was working in youth ministry at the time, and i was coming out of a biblical studies degree. Felt like i'd lived in it long enough to know, oh, its true, the heart is broken beyond what seems to be repair. redemption boils down to what do you believe about the resurrection? And i definitely see that as a core part of our work with the lender center. It's what we are attempting to engage, which i believe, is both a vantage point of reality but also the necessity of humility for leading others into healing.
