I think he just really believes that Ukraine should be part of Russia and just wants it. He definitely isn't looking super great, but that could just be fucking age. There is definitely a tonal shift. I'm not an expert in Putin, but just anecdotally from the outside, everything just seems more manic and unhinged. His rhetoric makes no sense and it's contradicted. And he seemed much more reserved and strategic in the past. So I don't know. Again, it seems more likely to me. He definitely could have some sort of terminal going on. He just goes mad, King.
Today Josh speaks with Sam McNerney on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Some of the topics we dive into are:
- The geopolitical reactions and support of Ukraine.
- Putin’s mental health and motivations behind the invasion.
- Russia's political and economic future.
- The prospects of WW3.
- How Russia and Ukraine are both using propaganda as part of information warfare.
- The differences between Russian and American oligarchs.
- And much more.
