The decline in bridging social capital is something we saw during the presidential election. We look at an experiment designed to measure trust along racial and ethnic lines. People who go to university, end up trusting much more than those who don't. And when we went out to streets of new york and ask people the standard survey question, generally speaking, would you say most people can be trusted? We got plenty of affirmatives. There is more good people in the world than there are bad people. So that leads me to believe that you can trust peoplei would say they could. I think that's maybe like a naive assumption on my part. Like to believe that there is good in everyone...
