The Value of Building an Audience Through Twitter

I would be curious to hear how you would describe what the value of building an audience is. I run a business and my life is sustained on having people know who I am so that's a real thing um I'll say just like making friends having a larger pool of people in your life is is extremely valuable. Twitter offers a huge freedom of association we will all find each other if given infinite freedom of association, Scott Alexander once said.
