I'm a big fan of authenticity but transparency is something to be discerning about and there's nothing wrong with saying I don't feel comfortable sharing what it is that is causing this feeling in me. Just because somebody's asking for information does not mean they're entitled to it. One of the key reasons that men have trouble opening up on our side of things is that women often have a tendency to for lack of a better word it's a harsh one but manipulate. The desire to get a man to see you as something other than you are so that he likes you more is a recipe for an unhealthy relationship.
