Computation is something that sort of transcends what we humans are used to. It's not like it has seen a billion haiku's or I can tell it order my children to clean their rooms but do so in the manner of a pirate and it will adopt the voice of a pirate. This phenomenon just because you know the rules, you might have an irreducible amount of computational work to do to see their consequences. But if you say roses are red, violets are, we all know the next word is blue. The Chet GPT is more or less that kind of thing on an astronomically more complicated scale.
