Sound Design in a Movie Theatre
Almost every sound you hear in the show is added in post production. In order to nail down where sound design can add to the story, a team sits down and watches a rough cut. These spotting sessions include other members of the sound team like the composer and music editor. They all sit together in the theatre and meti ly go through each scene. The only sound they hear is a rough mix of the dialogue that was recorded on set.
