A 110 over 70 is much less of a hemodynamic shearing force than a 180 over 90. It's simple engineering root cause analysis. You would know a small defect in a machine pounding away time after time is going to result in malfunction and maybe ultimately breakage of the machine. So it's a great flag as well, a marker for an underlying thing you need to address.
