The Russian Submarine Program
Russia has seen a number of attacks in the Black Sea on Russian surferships. Many of these coming from very cheap to produce improvised drone jet skis filled with explosives. With this following the sinking of the Moscow last year, the Russian surface fleet has been seen as underwhelming. But whilst many continue to keep their focus on the Russian surface fleets, the Russian submarine fleet has always been where Moscow prioritizes its spending and development. The leading programs for uncrewed underwater vehicles are no longer in countries like Russia, and they're getting behind.
