The Community Will Be a Part of That Conversation
The community the membership will have a say in that type of way it won't be that the community the membership is voting on every single action that is taken because that would become a bureaucratic nightmare. In terms of direction and goals and partnerships and strategy the membership can and will be an active part of that conversation so our goal is to really be transparent and also be a sort of a incubator for those conversations about funding about project priorities. There are also important components that affect the rest of the ecosystem like PHP 8 for example which has not necessarily gotten as much traction and core as some people would like.
