Is There a Lack of Imagination?
Lack of imagination creates a lot of these well intentioned but ultimately sort of reductive and dehumanizing acts of you know quote unquote help. I think the simple difference is a belief in a person's agency and a willingness to really listen or think about what it is that they need. When that kind of help is offered to me I'm really grateful for it so I really love the concept of a lack of imagination.
