Multi-vitamins have no potential to improve performance or help ot comes unless you have one of these very serious conditions. People who are eating a few hundred calories per day deficit, i'm not really worried about being deficient in vitamen and minerals until again, you eat a very restricted diet. Do you think that people who eat like a carnivore type Diet are at higher risk of deficiency compared to those with a plant based diet? I don't know if there is such a thing as 'carnivorous', but it could be the difference between life and death for some folks. If someone's only going to eat ribbi every two weeks all their lives, they're probably fine
