The Impact of Inequality on Health and Social Problems

We're not infectious disease epidemi logists or modellers and those of the people that have been advising on how to handle the epidemiology of the pandemic. We're social Epidemi logists, and what that means is we study the social determinantes of health and of healthily s try to understand the social causes of why some groups of people are healthier or less healthy than other groups of people. And our work for the past decade has focused on the impact of inequality and the gap in incomes in society. It affects how we treat each other, how we feel about ourselves. Because, you know, i it raises is use to do with self worth.
