The Western world is facing a period of unprecedented upheaval, as old alliances fracture, political divisions deepen and conflict continues to reshape the global order. From President Donald Trump’s shifting approach to Russia and Ukraine to growing unrest in France, the familiar rules of international politics appear to be breaking down.

Meanwhile, the divide between interventionism and isolationism is becoming one of the defining battles in Western politics. Across the Atlantic, attention is turning to the future of American politics. With Donald Trump facing mounting political pressure and Democrats eyeing the midterm elections, the race to find the party’s next presidential standard-bearer is already taking shape. Gavin Newsom, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Kamala Harris are among the names in the conversation - but an unexpected challenger from rural Indiana, local Democratic candidate Jaime West, has captured international attention after a viral television interview.

As political conventions crumble and unexpected voices emerge, who will shape the next chapter of Western politics?

Joining Piers Morgan to examine the shifting global order are broadcaster and former UK Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg, System Update host Glenn Greenwald, The Grayzone editor Max Blumenthal, and Cenk Uygur, founder and CEO of The Young Turks.

Later, Democratic candidate for Fayette County Council in Indiana Jaime West and Ben Ferguson, co-host of The Verdict with Ted Cruz, join the panel to debate the future of American politics and the race to shape the Democratic Party’s next chapter.
