Princess Mononkei: A Japanese Animated Movie

I generally don't like movies about magic because they don't make any sense. The problem I have with magic is what are the boundaries and one of the jobs of anybody writing fantasy or science fiction is to tell us what the boundaries of the magic are. So you know, this one has kind of monsters and magical creatures and stuff but fundamentally the conflict in the movie is between man's need and nature. Here is a conflict between human beings particularly and particularly these human beings who are mining ore that are real productive industrial evolution like activities.
