The Power of Yoga

Yoga was one of the first athletic endeavors that I pursued that really went beyond the physicality for me because unrolling the yoga mat. After you do a yoga practice it gives you the tools to really step back and observe what's truly going on instead of this often highly dramatic rendition or story that you told yourself. It brings you back into a place that is honest and a place that feels like there's potential to survive and not only potential to survive but to do better so that's why I keep coming back to yoga.
