The Labor Party's Response to the Unemployment Crisis
Alison Krogan is the Arts Editor for The Saturday Paper. She looks at how Labor has responded to problems of unemployment. Labour and the coalition have been pretty much on a unity ticket when it comes to job services in this country going back quite a long way. New Minister Tony Burke, he's begun to look more deeply into the contracts for the Workforce Australia system. And some of the things that Labour might be said to be not so keen on are laid out in his speech.
