Is There a Difference Between My Jewish Identity and My American Identity?

I have two national identities, one is my Jewish identity and one is my American identity. And they're not always on the same calendar, even if I might be immersed in New York with Russia, Shana and Kipper. So it's not like we're living in this time where oh my gosh, there's such a difference between my inside and my synagogue life and my outside. We're thinking somewhere around the late 6th century BCE to somewhere in the 5th century BCE, people disagree about each other right now.
