Autistic people are very unfeeling and that we don't have emotions at all. If you talk to autistic people they'll say they're feeling everything, it's because I often like we're totally overwhelmed by the sheer Weight of what's coming at us. Author Katherine May recounts the moment she – at age 37 – discovered she is autistic and recognized herself for the first time.

Living as an autistic person in a world that often misunderstands her, Katherine shares:
