How to Prevent Kidney Stones

A good general rule is that kidney stones that are smaller than five millimeters will likely pass spontaneously. Some may take longer than others, like from medical expulsive therapy or alpha blockers to relax the urator. Just increased fluid might help. But it's a good thought that if you see one that's five millimeters or smaller, it will pass on its own.
