20 years ago this week, I began talking about US foreign policy at a think tank. My second day on the job was calling policy to the U.N., making the case for war. The grievance is really around sort of lack of accountability and introspection. And it just isn't good enough to focus on the arguments made on behalf of regime change in Iraq after 9 11 without also looking at the building case for war there.
