Synesthesia and the Semantic Vacuum Hypothesis
Theory of synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which simulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences. One common form of this is known as grapheme color synesthesia, where the individual associates numbers and letters with color experiences. Idea staja is a neuropsychological phenomenon in which activations of concepts evoke perception like sensory experiences. Aphantasia is the inability to voluntarily create a mental image in your mind.
