The Removal Revelation
After commanding the murder of four people, including an infant, God went on to tell Ron that he was the same ilk as Porter Rockwell. When Ron showed this revelation to his brother Dan, all Dan had to say was quote, make sure it's from God. And both brothers took this to mean they would have to be Dan who would commit these murders. They used a murder that Nephi committed in the Book of Mormon as justification for their actions. This collection of communications from God came to be known as the removal revelation and the seed that the founders of Mormonism planted with the blood atonement doctrine so many years past was about to bear bloody fruit again.
