Do You Have a Difficult Conversation?
When approaching a difficult conversation, the first thing I want to remember is we're both people. We all have something different that drives our ability to communicate and recognize that these are hard conversations for everyone. As testers, we have a responsibility to communicate kindly. You need to meet people where they are. A lot of times when I used to work in client services, I would roll into a room and say 'I'm going to talk about technical things' But once I got into engineering, I've had to adjust myself to be a little bit more fine-grained with what I was talking about. People can't see me as an engineer if you do that y'all can't see
