How Does Europe's Energy Crisis Line Up With Climate Goals?

Europe's energy crisis response until now does not line up with its climate goals. Germany is seeing a bunch of new investments in carbon infrastructure, including liquid natural gas terminals. In the meantime you're providing direct subsidies to consumers to continue their consumption of fossil fuels. I think it will energise the transition, but we actually have to see action on that front, and this is not the moment to expect it on large scale because the fiscal demands are huge.
