The Evolution of the English Bible
The English Bible was very accessible in the medieval world. The problem was there wasn't a printing press, which is why not as many people had access to it. Still, there was a lot of reliance on French. So what we end up with are these English Bible translations that mostly use male pronouns and assume masculine persons. And I think for my book Making Biblical Womanhood, it's writing women out of the Bible.
